Wonder is on its way! A free, family friendly water play experience will be finding its home in the Thomas Jack Park Precinct.

Water play was right at the top of the wish list during our community engagement for the Thomas Jack Park Precinct revitalisation and will be a major attraction to the parkland.

This exciting water play area will meander around the existing mature trees and features a winding path with boulders, jets, misters and water channels for interactive, inclusive play.

General landscaping improvements such as paths, garden beds and trees have been included in the water play area to further enhance the natural beauty of the parkland.

The new water play area will be complemented by new amenities, picnic shelters, barbecues and seating, further enhancing opportunities to play, splash and gather amidst the natural beauty of the park.

Special care has been taken to include paths and surfaces to accommodate accessibility for mobility impaired community members.

We will continue to work through the detailed design for the water play area and look forward to sharing the final plans with our community in the future. Watch this space!
