Weekend picnics, youth hangs at the multi-purpose court, exploring the play equipment with little ones, connecting with nature, zipping through the park - the new Thomas Jack Park Precinct has something for everyone.
Guided by what we heard from community feedback on the draft park master plan released in October 2024, Council has partnered with leading landscape architects Vee Design to bring a revitalised Thomas Jack Park Precinct to life.
New play equipment, barbecue and picnic areas, amenities, pathways and landscaping have been carefully designed around the existing trees, ensuring the preservation of the trees and natural beauty of the park.
The flying fox will be a key attraction for the young and young at heart. A multipurpose court has also been included in the master plan offering our youth and community groups new ways to gather and connect.
There's plenty of kick-about space for that weekend game of backyard cricket or touch footy. The park connectors and pathways have been designed to support accessibility for mobility impaired community members and double as a parkland adventure exploration trail limited only by the imagination.
