Some minor remediation works will be completed over the next two years to ensure the current pool can remain operational while more detailed planning around the replacement of the facility is completed.

The concept design has been endorsed by Council, and the project has been progressed to the detailed design stage which expected to take around 12 months. At December 2025, the detailed design is at 30 per cent complete.

The tender process for construction of the precinct is due to commence in August 2026.

Construction will follow endorsement of the detailed designs and is forecast to take place over two financial years.
