Where it all began

Originally named the Chinchilla War Memorial Swimming Pool, the Chinchilla Aquatic and Fitness Centre was officially opened on Saturday 13 October 1962 by the Hon. A.R.Fletcher M.L.A, minister at the time for Lands and Irrigation.

A lot of things have changed in the last 60 plus years, as you can see from the video above. But the community's involvement with the aquatic centre is still just as important as it always has been.
