Background

The Tara Lions Park is located in the main area of town, with access to public toilet facilities and a family friendly playground inhabited by large eucalypt trees. A basketball court, skate park and BBQ facilities are available with sheltered bench seating. The park is popular with families for gatherings such as birthdays and BBQs, and with local teens after school and on the weekends.

Given the need for new equipment, the park is worn but has the potential to become an exciting and vibrant space for residents.

We want to hear your thoughts on what's important about Lions Park, what you value in your community spaces, and what should be considered for the new masterplan.
