Background

Diplock Park is a small, grassed parkland located just off the Warrego Highway near Dalby's CBD. Featuring a skate park (not in scope), half-court basketball court, bench seating and picnic shelters, Diplock Park is predominantly used by local teenagers during the week — with Dalby State High School located directly adjacent to the site — and families on weekends.

Given its current lack of function the park is underutilised, but has the potential to become an exciting and vibrant space for residents.

We want to hear your thoughts on what's important about Diplock Park, what you value in your community spaces, and what should be considered for the new masterplan.

Please note, this project is separate to the Dalby Cultural Precinct and Thomas Jack Park Masterplan.

Where We Are Now

Following in-person and online engagement with the Dalby community in February and March, we gathered insights into the unique opportunities associated with Diplock Park and developed a Draft Sketch Masterplan.

Use the slider tool below to view the Draft Sketch Masterplan, including the proposed site precincts.
