The intent is to create a tourism-focused visitor information bay that:

• provides a regional map and local highlights, and
• maintains brand consistency across the region while respecting local identity.

Our aim is to boost local tourism and create a consistent, region wide visitor experience in line with our tourism branding that respects and celebrates local input and ideas.

The proposed size is medium-scale, approximately 4m x 1.5m suitable for clear visibility and readability.

While the design will align with regional branding, we welcome input on how it can complement Ensor Park signage for a cohesive look and feel.

The proposed site is Bell Memorial Park, chosen for its proximity to the main road and existing parking on Dennis Street.

• TMR did not support the Bell Blade site due to its lack of formal parking and safety concerns.
• Ensor Park was considered but would require visitors to leave the highway, which reduces visibility and accessibility for visitors.

Through this project, we aim to complement - not replicate - existing signage in Ensor Park.

Through our December 2025 drop-in sessions we'll be looking to gather initial feedback on content and location. We'll be sharing draft designs with the community before the final designs are approved.
